In recent times, our environment has suffered the most and its results are a suffering for the humanity. The sufferings are mainly due to ignorance and lack of effective energy management. Nature needs our help to breathe again. We are proud to announce that Department of Mechanical Engineering UET Lahore presents "Energy Conservation and Plantation (ECaP) Drive" 2022. ECaP is here to raise awareness and make an effort towards a sustainable future. Get yourselves ready for an enthralling week full of learning and fun.
Climate Change
Climate change is now an alarming crisis, the impacts of which are global in scope and unprecedented in scale. Human activity is the main cause of climate change. Burning fossil fuels to produce electricity or heat is responsible for roughly half of the global warming. Our Earth is in danger because of increased Carbon Dioxide emissions in the atmosphere. Therefore it is the need of hour to save energy for our future generations as we inherit the planet from our ancestors, only to pass it onwards in a sustainable state.
